In January, licensed REALTORS® Kayla Kesting and Laura Veersma along with Broker Kelley Reitzel purchased the company from longtime owner, Mark Wentland



Big Rapids Realty, Inc and Reed City Realty, Inc are both under new ownership. In January, licensed REALTORS® Kayla Kesting and Laura Veersma, along with Broker Kelley Reitzel purchased the company from longtime owner, Mark Wentland. 

The new owners are committed to building upon a 54 year tradition of providing the unique brand of comprehensive "home grown" Real Estate services one can only find in a locally owned company.

Mark will remain a valued member of the business that he has poured his heart and soul into for over 30 years. Kelley says, "He's not going anywhere, he is still a big part of our team and plans to remain with us going forward. We have so much respect for Mark, what he has done for this company and we are very thankful to still have him as a part of our team, but he deserves to have more time for himself, his family and his beloved farm now."

Under new ownership, the agency will continue to do business as usual. "Why fix what isn't broken? The first thing we wanted the agents to know is that nothing will be changing for them," Reitzel said. "This company has been run professionally and efficiently since it was started and we will continue to do that proudly. We have had full support of the team as we transitioned ownership and roles changing within the business and are excited to continue serving the Big Rapids Community."
